A Special Birthday Post

So...today is my baby sister's 15th birthday, and in honor of the special day, I've dedicated this blog post to Esther ...a person who knows better than Santa Claus whether I've been good or bad.

My younger sister does a wonderful job as a guinea pig for all my brilliant inventions and for sending down the stairs in a laundry basket first. (Coincidentally, her trip down the stairs also taught me never to do the same.)

Thanks for teaching me valuable life lessons, Esther, like...

  • Most things you get in trouble for can be blamed on your little sister
  • Never let your little sister borrow your clothes
  • It's probably time to clean your room if you have to shovel it out...
  • Never cover all the upstairs door handles with Vaseline (oops...)
  • Never let your little sister borrow your camera
  • Never let your little sister borrow your shoes unless you want to see them walk off forever
  • Sniffing a handful of pepper to see if it will make you sneeze isn't the best of ideas
  • Never let your little sister borrow your pens or pencils
  • Actually, never let your little sister borrow anything
Never let your little sister borrow your camera

Happy birthday, kid, and congratulations on having the              best sister in the entire world.
